Director of Finance - Finance & Operations
About the Role
Evolv is a market-leading provider of financial services, specifically in the area of self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) audit. We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to support the leadership team to ensure the business receives a clear and transparent view of performance and long term strategic planning. Your Expertise
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance and corporate service team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Member of the Stakeholder group, providing leadership in review of deals and proposals to assess their financial viability and alignment with the business strategy.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, investment, and capital allocation to support financial objectives. Collaborate with financiers and other funders to source capital requirements.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis functions including budgeting, providing strategic insights to the Stakeholder Group. Oversee the financial reporting and corporate services process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and oversee tax and asset protection strategies, together with research and development government incentives to optimise the business tax position whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. This includes collaboration with external advisers to support compliance and address regulatory changes impacting on the business.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial and corporate services policies.
- Lead risk management ensuring the business has an effective risk framework in place.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Financial Management (8+ years)
- CPA/CA Qualified
- Proven ability to develop and manage complex budgets, create accurate financial forecasts, and conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Strategic thinker and inspirational leader able to motivate and guide team members
